With the help of many incredible volunteers,
we harvest TENS OF thousands of pounds of fresh produce that is donated to local food banks to help provide fresh, local food to those who could not otherwise afford it. These volunteers, and our donors, are invaluable to the work that we do.

DONATE.
The Fauquier Education Farm depends entirely on grants, donations and the help of volunteers to support everything we do. Because we are a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization all of your donations are tax deductible.

Each summer, with the help of many incredible volunteers, we are able to harvest and donate thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food banks to help provide fresh, local food to those who could not otherwise afford it.
Volunteer Information
-
Our volunteers assist with planting, harvesting, tending to crops and delivering to local food banks.
-
There are no minimum age restrictions and young children are welcome. We only ask that parents of young children work closely with them to ensure that they are doing more good than harm. All minor age children must be accompanied by an adult. And by the way, we don’t have any maximum age limit either, seniors are very welcome!
-
Our Volunteer Coordinator sends out a weekly email during the growing season detailing the task we will work on and our hours that week.
-
If you have a large group please contact the farm Director to set up a good time to volunteer. We welcome home school groups, church groups, Scouts, and anyone else who wants to help. It’s also an excellent way to stay informed about the farm.
