ABOUT US
Our Mission
"The mission of the Fauquier Education Farm is to serve our community by growing and sharing nourishing produce with local food banks, providing hands-on learning opportunities for all ages, and nurturing the next generation of farmers with education and support for sustainable success. We promote health, sustainability, and agricultural knowledge—enriching our community one harvest at a time."

The farm supports the community by contributing all of its agricultural products to local food banks and by providing richly rewarding volunteer opportunities.
Our vision is to create a vibrant community by advancing and supporting agriculture.
Our Vision
HOW WE STARTED
The original plan of establishing a community farm was initiated by the Fauquier Community Action committee in 2009. By 2010, A new non-profit organization was established to further develop a program of agricultural education and the growing of fresh produce for lower income residents.
Over the past several years, the farm has grown and is regularly donating over 100,000 lbs per year to several local area food banks.
