ABOUT US

Agriculture. Food. Community.

The Education Farm was started with these three ideas – and they remain the foundation of all that we do. From growing and harvesting food to donate to local food banks, to providing hands-on opportunities for children and adults, to helping to lay the foundation so that a new generation of farmers have the tools they need to be successful with workshops, the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Program and the Incubator program.

PROGRAMS

We are a learning resource.

The Fauquier Education Farm is a learning resource for students, farmers, gardeners and anyone wanting to learn more about how food is grown.

We offer a broad range of activities to showcase how to plant, maintain and harvest fresh wholesome vegetables while also being good stewards of the land.

Get Involved.

  • Volunteer.

Each summer with the help of many incredible volunteers, we harvest thousands of pounds of fresh produce that is donated to local food banks to help provide fresh, local food to those who could not otherwise afford it.

  • Donate.

The Fauquier Education Farm depends entirely on grants and donations to support everything we do, our educational and volunteer opportunities, and our donations of many tons of fresh produce to area food banks.
