And so it begins…

It may feel like winter out there and those warm spring days seem so far away.,  but it’s time to get busy planning on this summer’s garden now. Our first workshop of each year has become a fun tradition. We call it, “It’s Time to Start Planning.” In this workshop we go through a full calendar year of garden task, pointing out the best times to plant and re-plant most of your garden favorites. The talk is full of helpful suggestions on how to build your garden soil and create a healthy environment for beneficial insects, and will also let you know about the varieties and techniques that are working well at the Ed Farm. We also will introduce you to the full list of topics we will cover in the rest of the 2017 Workshop Series and let you in on our plans for the garden this year. As an extra bonus we will have free seed catalogues from some of our favorite vendors for you to take home

This first workshop will be held at the Warrenton Visitor Center at 33 N Calhoun St in Warrenton, from 2:30 to 4:30 on Sunday, January 29th. We hope to see you there!
